Because the treatment works on movement, it is as much preventative as corrective. Lines that are still dynamic respond most readily; lines already etched at rest may need a combined approach, which is something to discuss honestly at consultation rather than assume.

- Downtime
- Minimal. Small areas of redness, swelling or bruising can occur at the injection points. Most clients return to normal activities immediately.
- Course
- Usually one treatment, with a review around 2 weeks afterwards where appropriate. Maintenance is generally every 3 to 4 months, depending on the individual.
- Results
- Initial effects usually begin within several days, with full results developing over approximately 2 weeks. Results commonly last around 3 to 4 months, although this varies.

Aftercare
Stay upright and avoid lying down for the period advised. Avoid exercise, heat, alcohol, facials and massaging the area. Do not touch or rub the treated area.
